ABN co-sponsors International Emmy event
(19 November 2005)
The first International Emmy World Television Festival launched on November 18 with a kick-off cocktail party at HBO. The two day event took place Saturday, November 19 and Sunday November 20, 2005 at the Sofitel Hotel in New York City. Over eight hundred people attended the newly expanded Festival which featured the traditional screenings of the nominated programs as well as panels, presentations and cocktails hosted by international sponsors A&E Television Networks, African Broadcast Network, Ariana Television and Telemundo. Mr. Liu Changle, Founder and CEO of Phoenix Satellite TV, was the 2005 Festival Chairman.

World TV Festival aims to aid Foreign Broadcasters
